WebOct 13, 2024 · I’m an older gamer with kids and I just can’t commit to 50 waves in horde mode. I enjoyed horde in Gears of War 4 as it gave you an option of playing 25 waves which I quite happily played till the end, 25 waves takes around an hour where I’d imagine 50 waves would take 2 hours. I’ve only played a little of Gears 5 I like the graphics ... WebGears 4 is nothing too fancy compared to all three of its predecessors with the exception of some new moves, weapons, and characters. The story only delves deeper into humanity's war with the Locust Horde and the origin of a new threat on Sera. It is a game worth playing, but don't hold big expectations that it will blow your mind.
