Webb9 feb. 2015 · Smj 327, 283 crank and 11.0 327 pop up pistons GM 3866954. Reading online some call these L79 pistons. Bought this as a short block, owner said it was running. Anyone know how far down the hole these pistons are suppose to be? I just took took the pan off 5 mins ago, will have to measure what I got. I think Chevy did the following to get the 283-302-327-350 displacements: Put 283 crank in small-journal 327 block and get a (Chevy)302.
